SERVICES
and pricing
Standard Lesson
1 HourWe don’t confuse you with a range of pricing structures based on how many lessons you buy. Every lesson you have is of the same quality and has the same value, so they are all priced the same. We only ever expect you to pay for the lessons you have, not for the lessons you might have, so we charge a flat lesson rate.
Service Area
At Copes Driving School we concentrate on helping those clients in the Sutherland Shire. Occasionally we do take clients from the lower St George area if they are referred to us.
However we don’t just drive around the Sutherland Shire. During lessons we will drive to plenty of other areas to broaden the experiences of our clients and challenge their driving skills in unfamiliar areas.
Services
We don’t just teach for a driving test, we teach skills for life. Our aim is to help our clients develop independence in driving and independent thinking. Unfortunately, too many people focus on the driving test as the final goal. This is not the case at Copes. We focus on what happens after the driving test is passed and the novice driver is on their own.
Teaching all learner drivers, from those first timers to those with lots of hours experience.

Safer Drivers Course
20 Bonus Hours
Do you have at least 50 hours of experience behind the wheel and under 25 years of age?
Do you want to get a bonus 20 hours credit in your log book?
Do you want to learn more about safe driving behaviours and low risk driving strategies?
Enrol in the Safer Drivers Course For Learner Drivers with one of the RMS approved providers and you can get both of those things.
Here at Copes Driving School we work for a few of the local Sutherland Shire providers of the course by facilitating the in class module 1 session, and coaching for the in car module 2 session. As one of the first instructors trained in the state for both modules, you will not find a more experienced person working within the course anywhere.

3 for 1 Log Book Hours
3 for 1
3 For 1 hours
Did you know that with Copes driving School, you can get 3 hours entered in your log book for every 1 hour driving lesson, up to the first 10 lessons. In 2009 the NSW government introduced the 3 for 1 scheme which allows driving instructors to accredit learner drivers with 3 log book hours for every hour they spend in a professional lesson, for the first 10 hours.
If you combine 10 lessons and the Safer Drivers Course, you are essentially getting 40 bonus hours in your log book while at the same time receiving quality driving and road safety education. So, for mums and dads, that means they may only need to spend a minimum of 70 hours supervising their learner driver themselves. Bonus!
